The chemical polishing of
aluminum, known as "Bright-Dipping", is widely used to produce
specular finishes on various aluminum alloys in modern applications. The finish
is comparable to the luster normally obtained by electropolishing. In fact,
"Bright-Dipped" aluminum has replaced many electropolished or
electroplated parts for specialty items such as automotive and appliance trim,
picture frames, cosmetic containers and many others. "Bright-Dipping"
is an attractive, low cost method of increasing value on your aluminum products.
Fang Chemicals has developed
three proprietary solutions, 80FC, 85FC, and Fangbrite
15, which are used exclusively in the aluminum finishing industry.
